Trading Intern

About the opportunity:
You will have the opportunity to complete a twelve week unpaid internship over the Summer of 2016 with the potential to be hired at the end of the program. You will compete with others in the program and those who complete the program and are chosen to join Eldorado will be contractually obligated to accept as either:
-Algorithmic Trader/ Program Operator
-Firm Market Maker
-Proprietary Account Trader
Description: Responsible for the coding, testing, debugging and documentation of trading system infrastructure software applications.  Includes hands-on new development as well as enhancement, maintenance and support of existing applications.  Work closely with traders and business analysts to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes.  Research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations.
Requirements: 
- Current enrollment in college as Junior or Senior
- Relocation to Chicago for duration of internship if not already residing in Chicagoland area
- Desire to build a career in high finance 
- Willingness to work non-typical hours
- Ability to work autonomously 


*** Knowledge of futures and derivatives markets preferred 
*** Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or Engineering a plus
